Roles and Responsibilities
- Build Relationships: Cultivate strong connections with current and potential donors and partners to unlock new business opportunities.
- Identify Opportunities: Collaborate with our Business Development team and Technical Experts to spot and seize opportunities with international and government agencies.
- Lead Strategies: Drive the development and execution of strategies to secure grants and projects that align with our mission.
- Set Goals: Establish clear, measurable targets for business development and partnerships, keeping abreast of industry trends and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze Proposals: Review RFPs and EoIs from donors, assessing their suitability and exploring partnership options.
- Engage Stakeholders: Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, NGOs, and government agencies, sharing our successes and seeking collaboration.
- Network: Build connections with consultancy firms and institutions to expand our reach in the health sector.
- Collaborate: Work closely with technical and finance teams to ensure budget alignment with proposals.
- Manage Budgets: Develop and oversee an annual budget and operational plan, monitoring costs effectively.
- Evaluate Programs: Create frameworks for program evaluation to identify strengths and areas for growth.
- Research Opportunities: Explore potential donors and country profiles to make informed decisions.
- Represent Us: Be our ambassador at conferences and events, enhancing our visibility and networking potential.
Proposal Submission
- Support Proposals: Support the preparation and submission of impactful proposals and EoIs.
- Company Credentials: Keep our company credentials up-to-date for various themes and projects.
- Assist Bid Managers: Assist bid managers with operational details and proposal development.
- Prepare Background Materials: Prepare background materials and initial drafts for technical proposals.
Project Management
- Oversee Projects: Oversee projects related to Business Development, Partnerships, and Capacity Building, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Plan and Execute: Plan and execute program activities in line with project goals.
- Timely Submission: Ensure timely submission of deliverables and invoices.
- Team Player: Be an essential team member, providing support for new project initiatives.
- Design and Deliver: Design and deliver capacity-building programs and training initiatives that empower staff and stakeholders in the public health sector.
Desired Skill Set
- Degree: A Master’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related fields.
- Sector Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of and networks within the health sector and various multi- and bi-lateral donors.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in research, business development, and program management within the public health sector.
