Role Overview
As an Instructional Designer – Associate, you will play a pivotal role in crafting engaging and effective learning experiences. You will leverage your expertise in instructional design methodologies to collaborate with subject matter experts and team members, ensuring that our e-learning content is both innovative and impactful. Your ability to integrate multimedia elements and create compelling materials will be essential in enhancing our educational offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Learning Design Expertise: Utilize your knowledge of instructional design principles and methodologies (like ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, SAM model) to create engaging learning experiences.
- Content Development: Develop high-level and detailed content outlines for various projects (L1-L3) in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members.
- Create Learning Materials: Design and produce a variety of materials, including storyboards, course videos, eLearning presentations, hands-on projects, trainer instruction documents, and audio scripts.
- Innovative Content Creation: Develop content and storyboards for Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Web-Based Training (WBT)/eLearning courses based on design documents.
- Multimedia Integration: Incorporate multimedia elements—audio, video, graphics, text functionalities, and interactive components—into your designs.
- Collaborative Innovation: Work closely with leads and team members to suggest and implement innovative ideas that enhance our processes.
- Visual Storyboarding: Apply your skills in visual textual storyboarding to create compelling learning experiences.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Articulate Storyline 360 to develop engaging eLearning solutions.
- Adult Learning Theory: Utilize instructional design methodologies that include adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to produce high-quality, interactive learning solutions.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design, applying them to your work.
- Create Supporting Materials: Develop supporting media such as audio, video, simulations, role-plays, and games to enhance learning.
Experience & Skills
- Professional Background: 2-5 years of experience in instructional design and learning strategy, with a preference for experience in the e-learning and healthcare sectors.
- Content Presentation: Possess innovative content presentation skills and an impeccable command of written and spoken English.
- Instructional Design Approaches: Familiarity with multiple instructional design methods and a keen eye for UX/UI design.
- Engaging Activities: Ability to create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that aligns with instructional goals.
- Visualize Outcomes: Visualize instructional graphics, user interfaces, and the final product, ensuring all elements meet learning needs.
